Course Description

Happiness is something that each one of us has the potential to experience, but often our habitual ways of thinking take us in the opposite direction. In this three-week course we will explore how to develop three positive states of mind which lead to mental stillness, inner resilience and happiness. Become a truly happy person regardless of life’s difficulties and an inspiring force for the people around you.

The Teacher

Teacher - Bio - Gen Kelsang Shechog

Gen Kelsang Shechog is a Buddhist nun and the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Auckland. Having practised and taught Kadampa Buddhism for over 16 years, her teachings are exceptionally clear and she presents profound ideas in a way that is easily accessible and applicable to modern life. Gen Shechog is much loved for her gentle manner, kind heart and for showing an inspiring example for everyone on the spiritual path.
